HELP FOR A SOMM IN TRAINING!

OK so I'm in the "certified sommelier" program at the Professional Culinary institute in Campbell CA and I absolutely love it...but I've ran into a problem with training my pallet or rather my mental data base...of course I've been tasting wines from all over the world to really get a gras...

I can see only a few reasons a blog format for your homepage would benefit FTLOP....If the main page was more WineLibrary like (blog-ish) I could see more people that are new to wine or port feeling much less intimidated when first exploring FTLOP. The look you have now suggests order and seriousnes...

Dont forget to use a nice port reduction as a dessert topping...

I made a huckleberry cobbler then put a few scoops of vanilla bean ice cream on top then drizzled a port reduction over it all...yum!
