I think the RSS feeds are very valuable. I use NewGator and can keep on top of everything easily in Outlook. Without the feeds, remembering to go to each of the site I'm interested in and manually checking for new articles is very time consuming.

Are there general concerns over the agability of Port in 375ml bottles?

I know or lots of people who age Sauternes this way... it seems to me that Port should be even more sturdy.

Do folks generally think its a bad idea to buy 375ml bottles to age for 20+ years? With Sauternes its not uncommon for people to do this.

Years ago, my wife had a white Port in Portugal that she loved. She thinks it was sweet, but doesn't remember anything else about it. I'm trying to find two good "example" white Ports to see whether or not I like this style of wine -- one dryish and one sweet. They don't happen to be cheap...

What book/books would you folks recommend specifically about Port?

I'm looking more for information on the wines and less for history at this point.

What strategies do folks employ when choosing how much of which Vintage Port to buy, and in what size? It's much harder than with normal wine because port is so long lived -- I have no idea what my life and wine drinking habits will be like in 20-40 years. Do people typically buy 375s or 750s? Thank...
