I think that niepoort has made some stunning vintage ports.
my favoutite is the v 1945 followed by the 27 and 55 than the 1970 and 77.
the best port I have made is in my opinon the 2005.

No apparent logic in maturation process this year, although some north facing/cooler vineyards show faster maturation than some riper areas, that doesn´t happen always.
