It is supposed to be one of the Heavenlies. I paid $825 for it, including tax and shipping. It seemed like a very reasonable price of admission.

H & H Malvasia Reserva

My memory might not be perfect on this one, but I think I paid a little over $600 for the bottle.
This is a fantastic Madeira! It wowed everyone at two different dinners...including me.

1895 D’Oliveiras Malvazia- no bottling date on back.
I picked it up on the island, May of 2017, from the gift shop of some mountain-top lodge.

If the wax capsule were in better condition, I think it would be worth over $1,000 US. With the shoddy wax capsule, I think you could get ~$800. You could try selling it on this website or on eBay. I’m sure other people on this website will have additional thoughts.

1905 D'Oliveiras Reserva Verdelho, probably bottled ~1990.

I recently purchased a 6-pack of 1954 H&H Boal and a 6-pack of 1957 H&H Boal from two different sources. The 1957's have a bottling year of 1992, but the 1954's have no indication of when they were bottled. Any ideas?

I thought that Bastardo was also a noble varietal in Madeira.
