I've had this one and the VV with several hours of decanting and it was stunning. So I don't think you would go wrong with a few hours of air.

Yes was able to see pics. Thanks. Definitely sounds like an off bottle. It should be Dark, youthful and not as advanced as what your described.

While it has been a bit since the last time I had this, I recall it being very dark colored and youthful still. Sounds like your bottle was very advanced, possible bad cork or not stored well at some point.

Cellartracker folks are very good about fixing entry errors. If you find any, I'd compile a list and email them so they can sort it out and fix what needs to be fixed. 1995 Smith Woodhouse Madelena VP. In a beautiful spot, based on this bottle. But no rush either.
