1985 Osborne Vintage Port

This particualr bottle i got for free when i purchased my 1994 Fonseca's and i wanted to try it badly. You dont see too many Osborne VP's.As always i opened the bottle at 4:30 PM and let it breathe for about 5 hours in the decanter. The smell is filled with marzipan, red fruit and....surprisingly wh...

Re: Conservation of bottles in Wine Cabinets

I have 30+ bottles lying in the crawlspace under my house. What i did to protect the lables is wrap the bottles in foil. Not the entire bottle, the cork must be able to breathe. Some lie there for well over a year now and are covered in dust which i find very attractive. But i know when i remove the...

December 2008 VT : 1980 Borges VP

I bought this bottle some time ago for € 30. I read some TN's on the net and wasnt too impressed. Opened this bottle at 4 PM and decanted it for about 5 hours. The colour is pink/reddish. The cork was saturated and a piece of the bottom half remained in the bottle. Not a problem for me since i alway...

I still listen to Joe's Garage every now and then. Great record, hilarious lyrics, excellent music of a twisted genius.

same races as juniors, but not the same team. He used to kick everyones butt even back then. He really is a perfect specimen as an athlete. Lets hope he always stayed away from using steroids. If he is ever caught then i will never watch cycling anymore. We have seen too many people caught the past...

Re: Buying Futures - are you shying away right now???

Some of the stories here i dont understand. Are you paying for something you did not see or are not sure that they will arrive ? I remember now that i did sign in for a release of Niepoort 2005 VP but i paid for it AFTER delivery. So why are some of here paying in advance ? Or is that policy in othe...

Re: Buying Futures - are you shying away right now???

I only buy what i see or what i can hold in my hand. But im also shying away because of the ridiculous prices stores dare to ask. € 60-70 is very common for a just released VP.

I also thought the intention of Julian was to made a flavicon, NOT a emoticon. Flavicons look nice in your list of favorites, makes it easier to recognize the bookmarks.
So please, re-do it.
