For The Love Of Port

My consumption is very similar to Al B, although most of what I open is either vintage and/or tawny. Typically, I open very few LBVs over the course if a year.

The list includes Michael Jackson, Elliott Gould, Charlie Parker, William Friedkin, John Locke, Ingrid Bergman and Bob Beamon.

Oldest VP is a bottle from 1830 and my oldest Colheita is a 1863.

I've got a 1934 Quinta do Noval VP that would be the perfect special occasion port. Although, come to think of it, there's a bottle of 1945 Ramos Pinto in the cellar that would also make for an interesting special occasion port.

A very nice Rozes 10 Year Old Tawny Just curious, when was it bottled? Mahmoud. It was bottled in 2005 and had clearly lost a bit of freshness, although on the palate I found the mix of dried fruits and nuts to be very tasty. Style wise it was a very elegant, well crafted wine. I hardly ever drink ...
