For The Love Of Port

I read that Taylor's gets credit for the term "Late Bottled Vintage", but not necessarily that they were the first to produce a port that would be considered an LBV. I don't recall off the top of my head where I read that, but I don't think it was Taylor's propaganda.

Cruz Ruby, and you know, it wasn't all that bad. That corked bottle of whatever I had was otherwise pretty good. I don't mind corked so much. Hey, I drink funky Belgian beers too.

I didn't notice ethyl acetate, but I still have some left, so I'll check again next time.

- Quinta do Javali 30 Year Tawny
- Calem 10 Year Tawny
But 2008 isn't over yet

Eric, The Dow's LBV's are filtered and not made for aging, they are made to drink young. So pop the corks and let us know how they are. I was really surprised by the 2003 Dow LBV.
