1977 Dow's vintage port

Post by Rune EG »

37.5 cl bottle. Decanted 8.5 hrs. Pale brownred at decanting time, after 8.5 hrs more brown with a touch of red. Powerful aroma with a combination of smoked wood and some sweetish tones. Full body. Smooth, tawny style, some berries but not much, alcohol clearly evident. Long aftertaste. For those who like and prefer vintage ports that have turned into tawny style, they may give higher scores than me. 87 pts.
