1977 Warres

good colour, nutmeg and dark fruit nose, not too hot, delicious and sweet in the mouth with excellent length, a very well balanced mature Port showing well and absolutely in focus although I am sure it has lots of time to go.

Yes, a wonderful Port in the finesse category.

My old "house Port" for four years, going through several cases of it early and often when living in Reston, VA and paying $29 for this (at a great shop in Chantilly, VA) from 1992-1996.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
