Decanted 7.5 hrs. The first 3 - 4 hrs the port was hardly drinkable, and I was on the way to believe it was a bad bottle. Dark red colour with a significant influence of brown. Aroma with sweet berries and some spirit. Full body. Elegant, some fruit, some wet cellar, a bit sharp with too much acidity. First part was max 84 pts.
Put the remaining 1/3 of the port back in to the bottle and inserted the cork. Next evening it was a different story. Unchanged colour. Aroma being an explosion of berries (especially raspberries) together with some minerals. Long aftertaste. This part was 92 pts. In total for the whole bottle 87 pts.
