(Accidental) 28 hour decant. I may have opened this yesterday and then fallen asleep before getting to it, haha.
A nose of blackberries and brambles and heat. The palate is full of more fresh blackberries and some sharp structure, both tannins and acid, as well as some heat. While angular and not terribly easy to drink, as well as not being particularly suggestive of long aging potential, this is a decent glass of port. Perhaps with and extra day or two of being open, it will be even more so.
