NV Ferreira Duque de Braganca 20 year old tawny port

Post by Rune EG »

I have actually never tasted this port, but have noted that many US-based FTLOP members like it a lot. And I fully agree. It is a bit different from many other 20 years tawnies, which is nice.

Bottled 2014. 2 hrs decanting. Brownred colour. Aroma a bit like an old, closed cellar, and also wood and herbs. Full body. Taste is pleasant and powerful, consisting of amongst others caramel, some wood, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, minerals and a touch of bitterness. Liked this tawny port and are buying more. 94 pts.

Glad you finally got to try it and liked it. One of my favorites as I'm sure you know by now lol.
