1980 Taylor's Vintage Port

My brother said he would come round and see me for dinner. Knowing this, I stood up a bottle of Vintage Port the day before. We both enjoy Port and wine, so I thought this would bring us both joy. I decanted this 4 hours before we started to drink it. I managed to extract the cork in one piece using my Durand. Deep strawberry red with a light red rim. Gorgeous soft Christmas cake nose, spicy, plum jam. The mouthfeel is simply sublime. Sweet yet fresh, concentrated yet light on its feet. The waves of red plum pleasure roll around my tastebuds. Still relatively youthful for vintage Port, I am very happy drinking this now. However, this could easily age and mature for 20+ years if properly stored.

Nice note and graphics. Welcome back my friend, to the show that never ends, so glad you could attend.

Now if only you'd score that VP for us, sir Nicos! [friends.gif]
