1980 Messias Colheita port

Bottled 2014. Decanted 1.5 hrs. Clear transparent cognac colour. Aroma of nuts, wood, caramel, touch of apricot and some alcohol. Full body. Taste is smooth, powerful, wood, citrus, nice tannins, then in the middle part a bit dull, before the finish (very long aftertaste) is a bit round/fat in style and showing a well balanced colheita. Slightly on the sweet side, 92 pts.
