1968 Krohn Colheita
drunk on 12/31/15, served pop and pour
bottled 2008
Color: medium dark brown, a few hints of orange
Nose: cedar, some VA, faint citrus, sweet lemon, very faint pine.
Palate: sweet and acidic with great balance. Rich simple syrup, some vanilla, some very faint coconut. Fruits are sort of faint, but still there.
Finish: somewhat dark, acidic warmth, good length. Apple skin on the tail.
Score: 93 points. Slightly better than my last bottle - notably heavier body weight, though still only medium.

I had this around the exact same time. Better than you had told me it was going to be. I liked it, although slightly rustic, but lots of energy and complexity.
