Decant 3 hours (though tested after opening). Perfect dense dark color.
Brambles and dark dark pie fruits on the nose. A taught palate has a borderline stern structure, with good acidity and fairly firm tannins. Flavor wise, the raspberries and blackberries are in full force, with limited pie spices at the backend in the tannins, as well as brambly wood-ness.
This is a Port that could definitely improve for another decade and likely more. Warre's seems to have put some quality fruit from a vintage year in this bottling.
