Condition:
No prior decant. Opened directly from the fridge into a IVDP port glass.
Bottled in 2015
Note:
Amber yellowish colour and transparent. The nose some what dominated by alcohol and closed up. Some oak protrudes and some zingy scent that tickles the nostrils. This Colheita has some serious acid that hits on the front of the palate with tangy citrus. It is lightly bitter with some burnt caramel. Medium body with a semi longer after taste.
It currently lacks the sweetness to counterbalance the high acidity. For me it is out of balance at the moment.
