This tasting note is based on consuming three bottles at three different occasions in November 14 + March 15 + September 16. The individual tasting notes were very similar. The ports were from 11.5 to 13 years in that period.
6 hrs decanting. A lot of sediments, both big and very small parts. Double decanting in order to ensure that the small parts were gone. Dark red with a tiny light rim. Aroma of plenty berries, wet cellar and some sweetness. Medium body. Taste was elegant, fruity, blackcurrant, nice tannins, cherry liqueur, slightly bitter like dark chocolate at the end. Medium length aftertaste. 90 pts.
