Offley 2010 LBV $13.99
Tasted 2/14/2017
Bottled 2014
Not decanted
Color: black with glints of ruby deep in the bowl
Rim: magenta
Clarity: clear [though so dark it was opaque. I figure clarity refers to whether there was sediment; there was none.]
Body: light
Nose: Flowery, mint, citrus, strawberry, faintly smokey
Taste: fruit: grape, strawberry
Mouthfeel:
-Acidity: little
-Tannins: little
-Sweetness Type: medium sweetness, hit early. tasted simple [like simple syrup, sugar, not artificial or fruity]
-Finish: short .
The alcohol doesn't show until late and isn't very hot.
Conclusion: This is a nice, sweet, simple Port. I enjoy it.
Would I drink this again? Absolutely.
Would I buy it again? Yes, especially for this price

Also, was there a bottling date?
Re: Offley 2010 LBV
bottled in 2014.
it doesn't say whether it's filtered. that means it was, right?
thanks for reminding me to add those points. i'm still new to writing these, any advice is welcome.

Nice note. It doesn't sound like something I need to go search for, but for that price I would certainly be happy.

Yes, that price easily puts it onto the good QPR list.
