Bottled in 2015
Nose: Lacquer, caramel, polished leather. Followed by blueberries, oak, grape, and vanilla.
Palate: Rich and thick on the palate. Very strong acidity right up front which finally fades in the finish. Gooey sweet burnt caramel and brown sugar but the acid is definitely in charge.
Finish: Slightly sweet with medium length, acid faded but still present.
The acid is quite bold and is perhaps slightly stronger than I'd like it to be. If you like your port with plenty of acidity, this is for you. Nonetheless, a very rich and enjoyable pour. 90 points.
