Lack of progress ...

Post by Roy Hersh »

Wow, I was amazed when finally having the opportunity to sign on this a.m. (it is early Mon. a.m. here) after about 2 weeks away. It seems like there has been almost no posting action since I left. Sorry I have not been able to participate lately and I hope that was not the reason why there is such a paucity of posts.

Take care and please have a great Port for me. I won't be able to drink for another 10 more daze!

I've been a bit busy these past couple of weeks, but I'm making up for lost time and getting my liver ready for the trip. I've had two bottles of Port in the past 2 days :drunk: :yumyum: and there will be plenty more in the coming week and a half.

I have noticed that things have slowed down substantially in the past two weeks, but being near the end of summer in some places, people may be outside trying to enjoy the last of nice weather. (my guess anyway - I know in 4 weeks there is the very real possibility that we could be sitting at -15C here with snow on the ground, so you have to take advantage of the short summer here as much as you can!

No fear Roy, we'll keep the place running while you are busy and I have no doubt that your liver will recover to its former past glory-state and you'll keep up with Andy during the Harvest Tour (although he does sound like he is training awfully hard for this event!) :) I SO wish I could be along with you guys there!

Todd, you are probably correct. With school just starting around my area, all my friends have been busy getting their kids back into school and all the sports programs that have also started, not to mention all the other school related activities. That doesn't leave much time for drinking.
