Berry Bros - 2005 Andrew Will Sorella

Post by Mike McCune »

For you folks near that store, the 2005 Sorella should be a very special and ageworthy wine from potentially Washington State's finest vintage since many in the industry can remember.

If you get a chance buy a couple of bottles (or more if you can) and drink one soon and judge the others from that. You're not going to get a chance like this very often. These wines often show forward during the first year after release (generalization) and then close up to re-emerge after a few years or so.

I prefer the Andrew Will Sorella, Champoux and Ciel as my favorites year after year.

I'm not affilated with Andrew Will. I'm just a big fan of their wines.

These wines fall between California and Bordeaux with strong fruit but with some elegance and also firm structure.
