Being new to the wine world, I am often surprised by what people claim to taste and/or smell in wines. I think the funniest one I have come across so far is "molasses covered twigs" (on http://www.cellartracker.com, describing a Kopke 1980 Colheita).
Anyone have any similarly laughable terms they can share?
