TN: 2010 Assobio Covelinhas Douro

By Murcas. An entry level Douro wine that exceeded my expectations. A nose of tar and fresh red fruit. On the medium bodied palate there was plenty of dusty tannins, berries, coffee bean, and enough acidity to keep it fresh. A medium long finish is an extension of the palate. I was pretty impressed with this Douro wine and will drink well over the next couple years.
