TN: 2009 Quinta da Leda Douro red

2 hrs decanting. Dark purple colour with a light rim. Deep complex aroma of berries, oak, leather, tobacco and asphalt. Full body. Powerful and elegant (velvet) in the way I enjoy. Full of berries, a lot of pleasant wide range tannins, minerals. Long aftertaste. A nice step up from the 2007-vintage. Probably good for keeping some years. 93 pts.
