A wine from the Symington Family Estates I can't recall ever seeing or hearing about before. Found it for $6 at my local Trader Joe's market so I grabbed a bottle to try. Pretty straight forward medium bodied dark fruit with light tannins that are perfectly balanced. Fresh and pleasant drinking with a moderate finish. Given the price, it is one of the better inexpensive Douro DOC I've had.
