Tonight at the Graham's Lodge

Post by Roy Hersh »

2009 Quinta do Vesuvio Douro Red was spectacular and the more air time it had the better it got. Sadly I only own a case of the 2009 Pombal and not this gorgeous bottling.

Fully agree.
I was there Saturday May 10th and celebrated mine and a Portuguese friends birthdays and we had exactly the same wine.
Fantastic, even with very limited decanting time (30 minutes).
For the rest of the week in Douro Emmy and I hunted for this particular bottling, and found a wine merchant in Lamego that had them in beautiful wooden cases (three bottles per case).

Rune,

You are very fortunate. I had no room to squirrel away any bottles, but did not look in the Graham's lodge and wondered if they had any there ... or just on Vinum's list?
