A nice little read, but I'm going to have a tough time finding any of those in my neck of the woods. He's right that they are underappreciated, and that's certainly true in my area.

No doubt about it, that Pato Maria Gomes is a great value, and it's offered online even cheaper than the article suggests. Admittedly I haven't gotten to try any whites from the Douro region yet. I don't think I've even seen one offered here before. Other regions, I've certainly tried, though. Really cool geeky stuff out there, for sure.
