2009 CARM Douro Vinho Branco

Post by Bob P »

My only bottle of this vintage, previous were top drawer! Pale straw, no green. Mineral tones on the nose with citrus and some white stonefruit. Initial entry is dry, hint of creamyness. Has aged quite nicely as is the CARM norm I feel. Went well with chicken and shrimp skewers.
Not my first post here, had big problems signing in of late and have new email :( .

I'm always amazed at how well some Douro whites seems to be able to age. Is it the acidity, minerality, or something else...or maybe a combo??
