An interesting wine, that while still tasty, shows its age a bit. There seems to be a hint of oxidation, but not that off-putting... a bit like a Jura wine. In fact, this seems to be a cross between an Alsatian Riesling and a Jura white. Dried peaches, straw, citrus and saline notes. Dry and savory. This would perhaps have been more lively a few years ago, but it still provided some enjoyment. (87 pts.)

Not to long ago I opened a 2005 Niepoort Tiara and it also had some oxidation. I haven't seen any Ox signs on Dirk's 2005 Redoma Reserva thankfully. But I've also not had it in some time. I should probably check in on it and see how they are coming along....unless someone here as had it recently and can report back.

Thanks for the note.

I have one more bottle of the 2005 Redoma Reserva Branco. I should probably check it out, as it's been a while since I had it last.
