First time I tasted this was nearly 4 years ago. At that time it was only 2.5 yrs old. Now being 6.5 yrs it was time to write a new tasting note. I am pleased to inform that it has moved up from 92 pts 4 yrs ago and now being 94 pts.
3 hrs decanting. Deep dark red colour. Fresh aroma (but still a bit subdued) of oak and berries, and being floral with clear indications of minerals. Full body. Taste is powerful and elegant, where the fruit and the wood are so nicely integrated, and middle part being dominated by fruit, before it explodes in quite rough (but still acceptable) tannins. Long aftertaste. 94 pts.
