The bottle says it is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Roriz. 13% abv
Some cassis and eucalypt on the nose, but also some savoury overtones. This has opened up in the glass over a couple of hours. It's really quite gentle on the front palate. There is no big fruit here, and it is initially subtle with a hint of black tea, then some olive coming through with a wisp of licorice. The tannins build from mid palate on to provide some good length on the finish. I probably should have given this a couple more hours in the decanter, but it has proven to be highly satisfying none the less. 91 points
