Is there a thread for this?

Post by Eric Menchen »

Pinned are threads for "What Portuguese wines have you opened this week" and "What Douro wine have you purchased this week..." But there isn't a pinned thread that I could find for "What Portuguese wine have you purchased this week." Well, here are my non-Douro, non-Port, and non-Madeira purchases:

3x Villa Oeiras Carcavelos 375ml [not a typo, they intentionally use the old Portuguese spelling of vila]
1x 1965 Viuva José Gomes da Silva & Filhos Collares [also not a typo]

If you think Carcavelos is an oddball, go read about the crazy process to grow vines and make Colares:
