My last bottle of this. A pale ruby red with bricking. Barnyard and cherries on the nose. This wine sneaks up on you. When you first take a sip it goes flat for about one second then the barnyard, dried cherries, dusty tannins, and tingly acidity jumps out. By no means a "modern style" wine, though that is what I love about this. I last had this about 3 years ago and then I said it would hold up a couple more years no problem. It has, and while it won't get better, it's still holding very nicely and should for a few more years.

Andy Velebil Good wine is a good familiar creature if it be well used. William Shakespeare http://www.fortheloveofport.com
