TN: 2005 Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa Douro red

Decanted 6 hrs. Dark red colour with a light rim. The aroma is Douro all the way with the very nice combination of fruit/oak/minerals. However, the aroma was deeper, more complex and with more power than most Crasto Douro reds. We immediately got the impression that this is a red wine with class. Full body. Taste is powerful in a balanced way with the fantastic combination of fruit/oak/minerals, which all is in a pleasant harmony. Dry towards the end. Long aftertaste. A Douro red showing its greatness. 96 pts.
