TN: 2011 Quinta Vale D. Maria Douro red

Decanted 3 hrs. Deep dark red colour with a light rim. Deep complex aroma of berries, oak, minerals, herbs and actually dandelion leaf. Full body. Wonderfully well integrated taste of power and elegance, fruit, oak and some minerals. Nice tannins, and nice dryness, som tobacco. The best Vale D Maria vintage so far in my opinion. Considering one more point but ended at 95 pts
