No decanting. Bottle was opened for abt 1.0-1.5 hr during the meal.
Medium to dark red colour. Aroma is fruity, a bit floral, and some minerals. Medium body. Taste is fruity with hints of oak and minerals. Tannins are OK, although on the dry side towards the end. An uncomplicated Douro red which nevertheless has some consistence. This wine can be enjoyed on its own and do not require food to accompany. 85 pts.
