Shortly before the new year some friends gathered for some BBQ'ing and wine drinking on a cold but very clear afternoon, one that went well into the evening. While it was a Champagne and Burgundy filled day, mostly, I also brought this bottle along. Decanted about 7 hours. A soft and sweet palate full of mature strawberries, some menthol, licorice, and all spice. This was the best example I've had of this particular VP.
