1985 Graham Vintage Port

Post by Eric Menchen »

Tasted blind. Ruby with just a hint of orange, this is definitely more red than the previous wine (1985 Borges). This has aromas of woody incense, sandalwood. There is some sweet syrup character, Sucrets, but not so medicinal; maybe it is more like fernet (which upon reflection, is fairly medicinal—hmmm). This is very tangy, with lots of citrus, Mandarin orange. There is lots of acid. Later I detected some woody dust. 92 points.
