From a 375, bottled 2012.
Like the 1987 Kopke colheita tasted immediately prior, this is nutty as well, with walnut oil and walnut skin aromas. It has some interesting varied flavors in the mouth. It is tangy sweet with more fruit than the 1987, and in fact has lots of fruit—prune, plum, stewed. There is some sugary syrup character, but not overly sweet. In fact, it is more sharp, and warm in the finish. 90 points.
