Nice vintage port from a year with big variations. In my opinion this vintage port should be consumed now, and not for further storage. “Buy it and drink it”.
Decanted 6 hrs. A lot of sediments at decanting. Medium red brown colour. Aroma of wood, cardamom spices and berries. Medium to full body. Smooth at start, and going on throughout the tasting. Taste is full of fruit (particularly raspberries), wood, long pleasant tannins. Well integrated acidity. Medium to long aftertaste. Overall a bit on the sweet side. 92 pts.
