NV Porto Quevedo 40 Year Old Tawny Port

Tasted blind. Bottled 2012. Treacle, baked sugar, and browned aromas, along with musty dried cherry. Lots of sugars in the mouth, too much for balance, but fun for complexity--crème brûlée, caramel, dates, dark brown sugar, hint of molasses … Only 92 points, but this could pair with the right dessert really well. It needs more acid.
