2003 Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port

Incredibly intense aromas up front (immediate), with grape jam, hint of lemon, grape skins, some herb, leaf, tree leaf, spruce needle, and a hint of smoke. Big tannic pucker bomb in the mouth with flavor of blackberry. Not overly sweet, seems dryer than most of the previously tasted wines (2003, 2007, 2011 Quinta do Crasto LBVs). Perhaps better in 10-20 years, but needs at least some time. Only 90 points now, maybe 91.
