Decanted at 15:30 for dinner around 19:30

Color: dark garnet
Nose: faint sour VA, nice purple fruit, faint mint. Some stone fruit also.
Palate: rich fruit compote, some prune and black cherry, later some redder fruits like tart strawberry and ripe red raspberry. Very smooth and rich, but only medium body. Gentle tannins.
Finish: good length, smooth and pleasant. Apple skin tail.
Score: 95 points. Hard to beat G85, it's so consistently outstanding.
