It just isn't lasting very long!
If this is how the bad bottle tastes I am in for a real treat next year when I plan to open 2-3 of them.

Let me know what you think of it. I have a Porto Rocha Very Old Dry White and have always wondered whether or not it's really all that dry.John M. wrote:Barros Very Old Dry White

1968 Krohn Coheita at the Eastern WA BBQ Championship at Pybus Market in Wenatchee. Didn't do a proper tasting note, but everyone loved it!

Re: What have you opened this week?
3 bottles went down to celebrate pentacosta.
1966 Barros Colheita; a little on the sweet side
30 YO Sandeman bottled in 1980; a fantastic bottle!
Italian bottling, a tappit hen from 'The Douro-shippers"; My guess an 50 year old Tawny. Still alive and fresh. I enjoy, when the older bottlings turns out to be a pleasant surprise.

Re: What have you opened this week?
Just back from vacation with no internet for 95% of it...nice being out of touch for a bit. Like the old days :)
While gone I opened a 1977 Smith Woodhouse VP and a 1968 Krohn's Colheita. Both showed fantastically and the SW is still very youthful.
