NV Sao Pedro das Aguias 20 year old tawny port

Post by Rune EG »

This company seems to be connected with Rozes, as Rozes is doing the bottling and the marketing. Tried twice at LBV restaurant, Pinhao, with three days apart (from two different bottles).

Bottled 2013. No decanting. Medium dark brown colour. Aroma of herbs, citrus, nuts and oak. Medium to full body. Powerful and to some extent elegant. Taste is showing a good combination of citrus, herbs, caramel and some oak. Well-structured port. Nice acidity and tannins. Medium to long aftertaste. 92 pts.
