I'll also leave 1994 and 2011 (and now possibly 2016) out of the discussion for now as none of them are mature enough yet to know how great they're truly going to be. 1994 is looking awfully good, though.
If you compare the better 85's tasting notes 10 years ago to '94 today; you'll get a sense of how great '94 really is. Take Grahams, Warres, and Dow for instance. All quite good 85's that were fine to drink 10 years ago. The equivalent 94's today are still brutally young in comparison.

I did not drink much port last year but overall it was the 1985 Warre's Vintage Port.

I had 1992 Fonseca from 375 ml over the holidays with my son who was born in 1992. It was complex and sublime, and got better with airtime.

Coincidentally, I had this VP recently and found it superb. The only thing it requires is another decade or two!

Opened 45, 63, and 85 Sandeman over the course of a few weeks. All were very good but the 45 was really special and far better than the 63 which is one of the better Sandemans. 45 was still very powerful 97 or 98 points. Actually better than a 31 Noval opened a month earlier
