Two bottles of Quevedo Crusted 2012, thanks to it being recommended on my thread asking about doing a tasting while camping.

I get excited to see when you guys get the bottles I drink regularly. [cheers.gif]

That's drinking really well right now. This summer at a tasting we preferred it to the Crusted. We also had a half bottle.

Given your location, that's entirely possible :-) . Were you at the auctionhouse (and if so, did you get anything yourself)?

Thanks Gleen,

The shop is also out of stock now. I plundered the last ones. Two of these bottles are allocated for planned tastings, the first already in March this year.

That leaves with me 1 and 1 purchased previously in my possession. I will wait to crack open one of those until you guys either visit Denmark or we rendezvous in Porto [friends.gif]

All 375s from WineBid, one each

1997 Grahams
1997 Dows
2003 Niepoort

There were a lot of 375s this week and most went. I love this size when its just me or one or two others....just enough.
Any Port in a storm!

Bought the following at good prices for an upcoming Taylor's vs. Warre's vertical. Just need a Taylor's 1992 now.

1970 Taylor's VP
1977 Taylor's VP
1985 Taylor's VP
1994 Taylor's VP

And for a small tasting with 5 friends in a few weeks time (The 3rd bottle in that tasting is the Quinta da Romaneira 40 Anos previously mentioned)

Vieira de Sousa Very Old White (50+ years)
1970 Graham's VP

Ahh it is looking to be a great year in Port. [yahoo.gif]

Thomas,

I have five bottles of 1992 Taylor's in my cellar. When will you be in Porto this year?

Dear Roy,

I will be in Porto and Douro from the 5th through 10th of June this year. Got to keep the streak going with 3 consecutive years of visiting Portugal. This time I will be bringing my girlfriend & son to see what all the fuss is about. [yahoo.gif]

I guess you are indicating you'd sell me 1 of your 5 remaining T92? Else if you are visiting Denmark in 2019 we could perhaps make it so that you could participate in the tasting if that would be interesting enough for a seasoned vet like you.

The setup is Taylor's vs. Warre's in the following vintages (So far)

1970
1975
1977
1980
1983
1985
1991/1992
1994
