Very dark ruby. Meaty cranberry and chocolate nose. Given the color, not as big an entry as I expected. I think this needs more air. Mouth filling. More refined than expected. Subtle tannins. Very good acidity in the long finish. More persistent than expected as well. The finish comes in waves. Extremely long finish comes in waves! I definitely see the Touriga Nacional in this, but not so much influence from the Tinta Roriz on the palate. Ready to drink, but there is no rush to drink up. Delicious! 91 points
